Saddle Up Saturday: Brewing Confidence, One Chaotic Morning at a TimeSong of the Day: “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” – Big & Rich

This morning didn’t start with coffee ☕ or peace ✌️. It started with Tobito body-slamming my bed like a caffeinated rodeo clown yelling, “Get up! The collectibles table won’t set itself, and cowboys don’t sleep in!”
Then came The Refried Avenger, blasting through the door like a masked motivational coach:
“You’ve got ten minutes before regret starts counting reps!”

Apparently, my subconscious (or Alexa’s rebellious streak) thought “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” was the ideal wake-up anthem for the chaos. 🤠

Not exactly a spa-like morning routine... but arguing was pointless. They were already digging through my closet, debating what shirt screams “confident but approachable” without screaming “wrinkled and rushed.”

🔥 But they had a point.
Today is the show. And it’s not just about selling horror merch or framed artwork — it’s about showing up.
For yourself.
For the grind you’ve committed to.
For the version of you who didn’t give up when it would’ve been easier to.

🎯 This Week’s Wins:

Still weight training 💪 and getting that cardio in 🏃‍♂️

Still walking 20,000+ steps a day at work 🚶‍♂️

Still resisting display churros (barely) 🍩❌

Still sleep-deprived, but hey — that’s what protein coffee is for ☕⚡

💬 Tobito’s Motivational Rant of the Day:
“If you walk into that show hunched and defeated, nothing’s selling. People want to feel your confidence! You think anyone buys horror art from someone who looks like they just survived a haunted hayride? Smile, cowboy!”

🌀 The Refried Avenger’s Rebuttal:

“He can still be authentic and tired! People relate to real. Let the man sip his protein sludge in peace. Not everyone wants a carnival barker on pre-workout.”

They argued all the way to the car — which honestly made the drive feel shorter. And weirdly encouraging.

🧠 Lesson of the Day:

You don’t have to feel 100% to show up.
You just have to start.
Confidence usually follows motion. One small step leads to another, and suddenly... you’re in it.

Whether it’s:

Stepping on a treadmill

Stepping behind a collectibles table

Or stepping into a shirt you forgot you owned (but somehow still fits) 👕

Momentum is the real magic. 🌀
And honestly, I may not be where I want to be yet — in weight, mindset, or consistency —
but I’m not where I started.
And that? That’s worth celebrating. 🥂

Even if I do need to ice my back afterward. ❄️😂
