"A Calm Before the Madness: Embracing Stillness Before the Men's Final Four"

Entry #143 Before the Madness

With the excitement of the Men's Final Four just around the corner, today offered a much-needed moment of calm. My faithful companion and I took full advantage of this rare pause to slow down, recharge, and simply enjoy the quiet. As much as I love the energy of having people over for big events, I’ve come to realize that those moments of peace in between are just as valuable—if not more.

It was a gentle, fulfilling rhythm that made the evening feel special in its own way.

Finding Balance in Busy Times

As we gear up for tomorrow’s Final Four frenzy, I’m grateful for days like today—simple, peaceful, and full of little joys. Whether it’s catching up with a friend, hitting the gym, or enjoying dinner with a beloved companion, these are the moments that keep me centered. Rest days may not always look like lounging on the couch all day—but for me, they’re about recharging in whatever ways feel right. And today was exactly
