Entry #14
Thanksgiving: a time for family, friends, and... retail chaos. If you're in retail, you know the drill - stress, anger management, and the inevitable "where's the sale?" questions. I mean, come on, folks, you have Google in your pocket!
But enough about that. My own Thanksgiving disaster involved a more personal crisis: I put on the wrong pants. And by wrong, I mean way-too-big. I'm talking "I-need-a-belt-and-prayers-to-keep-them-up" big. Let's just say I was one wrong move away from a full moon indoors.
After a day of wrestling with my wardrobe, I decided to tackle the next phase of my self-improvement journey: organization. I started with my bedroom closet, because, let's face it, it was a hot mess. I sorted clothes into three piles: the "I-just-bought-these-and-they-actually-fit" pile, the "donation station," and the "what-was-I-thinking?" pile.
With my trusty sidekick (aka my dog) supervising, I managed to bag up some donations and start making progress. But, oh boy, it was just the beginning. Next up was the kitchen, which I thought would be a breeze. Wrong! It's going to take me weeks to get everything organized, what with work, workouts, and trying to improve other areas of my life.
So, what have I gotten myself into? Well, at least I'm not bored anymore!
