As I navigate my weight loss and self-improvement journey, I've found that dating can be a daunting task. One of the biggest challenges is sticking to my clean eating habits and avoiding alcohol while on a date. However, the payoff is worth it – showing off my progress and receiving positive feedback is a great motivator.


The preparation process for a date can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to finding clothes that fit. I've encountered the dreaded "in-betweener" phase, where my current clothes are too big, and the next size down is too tight. This dilemma is exacerbated by my tendency to wait until the day of the date to check my clothing.


To avoid any last-minute stress, I've learned to take proactive steps. After a quick trip to the store to find better-fitting clothes, I head home to shower, shave, and get ready. A simple skincare routine can work wonders for my confidence.


As I continue on my journey, it's essential to focus on progress, not perfection. Dating while on a weight loss journey may present unique challenges, but it's also an opportunity to build confidence, develop healthy habits, and meet like-minded individuals.
